MASAHITO HIRANUMA / CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

1962年生まれ、パリ-東京コレクションなどの選曲、演出助手、スタイリスト、演劇の舞台音響などの仕事を手がけながら、自分自身の表現を求めて絵画制作を始める。

90年に西洋芸術の実物に触れるためと、コンテンポラリーアートの動向を知るため渡仏。

94年にパリPROCREARTでデビュー、パリで活動しながら自分独自のスタイルを探究。98年帰国。

横浜での個展を皮切りに個展を中心としてゲリラ的に活動中。

2013年以降、新シリーズFASHIONの個展を始まりに、シリーズ展開されたROCK STAR、

CONTEMPORARY MUSIC、FASHION No.09、NEW WAVEなど感じるままをダイレクトにぶつけた作品を積極的に発表しています。

私が求めているものは、喜びであり楽しみであり輝きであり、光である。

喜び、楽しさ、笑い、解放、エロス、快感、それらをテーマとした知的な遊び。

画面から受ける感覚は輝きと光であり，その輝きは私の波動と共鳴し喜びとして純粋に私の心に残る。

そして、その感覚が私はとても好きだ。

MASAHITO HIRANUMA

Born 1962. Started painting looking for means to express one`s particular art , during the days working as

a music/sound director and stylist for Paris-Tokyo Collection. Moved to Paris to look and study directly

from the paintings and feel the atmosphere of contemporary art movement.

After the first exhibition at PROCREART Paris,

continued exploring and experimenting, seeking an original style of art. 1998, returned to Japan,

and showed various works mainly in solo exhibitions starting in Yokohama.

Since 2013, showing enthusiastically...the new series FASHION and Geometric,ROCK STAR,

CONTEMPORARY MUSIC,FASHION No.09,NEW WAVE,etc....

Concept /

What I want is joy,happiness, brightness and light.

joy, happiness, laughter, freedom, eros, pleasure; a creative brainwork based on those theme.

What I receive from the tableau is brightness and vibration.

It turns into a sense of genuine pleasure which would stay in my mind.

I love that kind of feeling.
